MOTHER'S DAY

Norma sent Texas coffee and the book THE SECRET. Isaac, Lagaytha and Joy gave a hanging plant. Joy gave a box of candied ginger (she gave the box of matches earlier).

WISDOM TOOTH PULLED

All expressions of sympathy gladly accepted.

BEES ARE GONE

While we were eating lunch today, we noticed that the bees were no longer in the tree but some were buzzing around in the area. Soon, they were gone also. On the news tonight, one of the stories concerned the arrival of a swarm of bees on the U of O campus. They established their hive in a large tree on campus at about 1:00.

BEES PAY A VISIT

A few days ago, a swarm of bees came and settled in blackberries. Soon, they moved to a small tree. At first they congregated on three or four limbs. Now they are all together in one mass on a single limb.

BABY QUILTS

Obaa, Ojii and Lagaytha are planning for the future. Joy helped choose fabric, Obaa drew pictures for baby quilts, Ojii painted them, and Lagaytha assembled the blocks and had them quilted. A baby girl will get the flowers and a boy will get the bears.

JOY'S SCREEN

Joy, Isaac, Obaa and Ojii complete the assembly of Joy's screen. Ojii made the screen and Joy stained it. Isaac's ideas made the installation of the hinges go smoothy.
